The Lindhaus PB12e DCS is the smaller of Lindhaus's mains-powered electric power nozzles for central vacuum systems, turning its brush roller with a 150 watt motor of its own instead of relying on the passing airstream to spin it. That is what separates a power nozzle from a plain floor tool: a driven roller works dirt out of the base of the carpet pile, where suction alone mostly skims the surface.
Lindhaus publishes the central-system PB12e with a vacuum working width of 11.8 in and a brush width of 10.6 in, a brush turning at 5000 rpm, electronic overload control, double insulation, a cogged drive belt, adjustable brush pressure and a brush roller that comes out without tools. Rubber wheels and a microswitch that cuts the motor when the nozzle is stood upright let an operator cross from carpet to hard floor without stopping to switch the brush off.
DCS is Lindhaus's patented Dry Cleaning System. The nozzle brushes a crystallizing cleaning product down into the carpet fibers to loosen dirt, and after roughly 30 to 60 minutes of drying the crystal residue is vacuumed back up with the same power nozzle.
