This squeegee brush shoe plate is a replacement base plate for the Lindhaus Activa 30. Lindhaus publishes the Activa as taking interchangeable shoe plates so the same upright can work on hard floors as well as carpet: a plate with a squeegee and front wheels for common hard floors such as ceramic and linoleum, and a felt plate for delicate floors such as marble and wood. This is the squeegee and wheels version, in the D30 size.
A shoe plate wears at the wheels and the squeegee edge before anywhere else, watch for wheels that no longer turn freely, a squeegee lip that has flattened or split, or the plate riding unevenly across the floor. Any of these signs mean the plate is no longer sealing or floating correctly, and pickup on hard floors will suffer even if the Activa 30's motor and brush roll are otherwise fine.
