Converting the Lindhaus Dynamic 300e from carpet to hard-floor cleaning starts with this shoe plate, a replacement base that swaps in for the standard carpet shoe. Lindhaus lists it at D30, a 30 cm base, in the squeegee type with wheels, which is the combination meant for bare floors rather than pile.
The wheels are what let the plate ride over a smooth surface instead of dragging on it, and the squeegee edge is the part that meets the floor. Both are wear points. Wheels stiffen, bind, or collect hair around the axle, and a squeegee edge flattens, hardens, or splits along its length. Once either goes, pickup on tile, vinyl, or sealed wood falls off even though the rest of the Dynamic 300e is working normally.
SKU 089260381 is sized to the Dynamic 300e's D30 width specifically, it will not seat correctly on the wider Dynamic 380e, which takes its own D38 shoe plate. If you run both a 300e and a 380e in the same building, keep the two plates labeled, since they look much alike once they are off the machine.
