Product details

Ten locking washers is roughly what a full brush-housing rebuild consumes, once you accept that none of the old ones should go back in. Part 0141ER is the ten-pack of the washer SEBO uses on the AUTOMATIC X uprights, the ELECTRONIC 370, the ET-C power heads and the Duo — identical to the single listed as 0141, bagged for anyone who opens these machines more than once.

These washers work by spring tension rather than friction. Compressed under a fastener head or a retaining collar, they push back and stop the fastener creeping round under the vibration that a running brush roll feeds into the chassis. That tension is a one-time asset. A washer removed from a machine has already given it up, and the flattened original going back in is why a repaired axle or bracket develops play again within weeks rather than years. Keeping a bag in the drawer also means the correct washer is at hand at the moment the machine is open, which is when the decision to reuse or replace actually gets made.

Buying by the pack is what makes that discipline practical. A single upright strip-down turns up half a dozen of these at once, and a bag on the shelf removes the temptation to salvage. The usual prompts to order a SEBO locking washer replacement are a knocking brush-roll end, a cover screw found loose, or a collar that has started to walk along its shaft.

  • SEBO part 0141ER — locking washer, ten per pack
  • Fits SEBO AUTOMATIC X1, AUTOMATIC X2, AUTOMATIC X4, AUTOMATIC X4 Boost and AUTOMATIC X5
  • Also fits the ELECTRONIC 370, the ET-C power heads and the Duo
  • Sprung form; treat as a replace-on-assembly item rather than something to reuse
  • Pack: ten washers. Singles are stocked as 0141
  • Other bagged hardware in the same group: flat washer 3.2 (0143ER), C clip (0161), screw 4 x 12 (0129ER)
  • Replace when: a cover screw is found finger-loose, a bracket knocks, or a collar has started to walk along its shaft
  • Genuine SEBO part from an authorized dealer; ships in 2–5 business days
