Every baseboard, chair leg and door frame a DART meets is met by its lower body shell, and after enough of them the shell is what gives — a screw boss opened out, a split rib, a corner gone entirely. 7169AM is SEBO's white replacement for it.
White is a full trim family on this machine rather than a one-off. SEBO lists the handle complete as 7164WE, the switch frame as 7178WE, the cord hook as 7027WE and the power head cover with DART print as 2331WEAM, all for the DART. This lower housing is the same finish, which matters because a mismatched shell is the most visible repair you can make to an upright. For reference, the equivalent row on SEBO's FELIX sheet is drawn in black (7173SE) and dark blue (70166SE); those are separate numbers.
Keep the body shell and the floor head apart in your head when diagnosing. SEBO numbers the DART's ET-1 power head hardware from row 100 upwards — chassis 2324GS, brush roller 5010AM, belt 2923 and the bearing blocks 2314GS and 2313GS — and each of those is its own order. A clattering, brush-related noise usually belongs to that group. What belongs to the lower housing is a body that flexes, fasteners that will not tighten because their bosses have opened out, cracks radiating from an impact point, and rattles that move with the machine rather than with the brush.
With the machine open it is worth checking the pre-motor filter 7012AM, the box of eight AeraPure bags 7029AM and the hose 7050SB, all listed for the DART.
