Part 62212 is the replacement elbow for Electrolux PN-4 and PN-5 power nozzles - the pivoting joint where the wand meets the nozzle body, carrying both the airflow and the swivel that lets the head lie flat as you steer.

The elbow takes every twist and every recline of the wand, which is why it goes before the nozzle does. It cracks around the pivot, wears until the head flops loosely, or stiffens up so the nozzle fights you on turns. A cracked elbow also leaks air at the joint, so the head stops pulling properly even though the motor sounds exactly as it always has.

Fit it between the wand and the nozzle, confirm it locks at both ends, then check it pivots freely and holds suction before the machine goes back into use.
