Numatic Machine End Coupler...

Product details
Air hissing near the canister inlet on a Henry, or the hose working itself loose partway through a job while pickup at the floor tapers off, points to a worn coupler at the machine end of the hose. Numatic part 216006 replaces it, sized for the Henry NVH200's 1.25-inch hose fitting.
This coupler links the hose's business end to the vacuum body itself, so how snugly it seats determines whether suction stays sealed all the way from motor to wand. Fitting a fresh coupler brings that seal back without the greater expense of swapping the entire hose assembly for a single worn fitting.
Confirm your hose is the 1.25-inch size before ordering, since vacuum hose fittings come in more than one diameter and a coupler cut for the wrong size will never seat tightly no matter how much force gets applied. Measure across the end fitting rather than going by eye, as neighbouring sizes look far closer than they fit. While things are apart, run a hand along the rest of the hose looking for splits or soft patches, a coupler giving out is sometimes the earliest sign that the whole hose is aging.
A snug-fitting coupler is a small, inexpensive part compared with a full hose assembly, so replacing it at the first sign of trouble is generally the more economical repair.
