This 12 inch magnetic strip (part #MS12) mounts to the front of an upright vacuum to catch small metal objects such as pins, needles, staples, and paper clips as you clean. It sits ahead of the suction path so metal is collected before it can reach the nozzle.

Loose metal that enters a vacuum can nick the brush roll, tear the bag, or lodge in the airflow, leading to noise and damage. Running a working magnet in front keeps that debris out, and the removable cover lets you wipe the collected metal off quickly.
