Returns & Exchanges

Product details

This 14.5-inch replacement lid (SKU 8630000L14) fits M.D. bag-type central vacuum power units. The lid arrives with its sealing gasket already attached, so installation is a simple swap — no separate gasket to fit or glue in place.

The lid is what closes the vacuum's canister and lets the system hold suction. A lid that has cracked, warped, or lost its seal allows air to leak in at the top of the unit, which shows up as weaker suction at every inlet in the house. Replacing a damaged lid restores the airtight seal the motor needs to pull its full vacuum through the pipe network.
