Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This rubber gasket (SKU 724) fits all of MD's open-style bag central vacuum units and forms the seal around the top edge of the paper filter bag. A sound seal here keeps dirt heading into the bag rather than drifting into the canister, so the bag captures what the system collects.

MD notes that the o-ring style gasket introduced some years back is optional equipment — it is not required for the unit to work, though it does help funnel dirt down into the paper bag. This rubber gasket is the piece that actually seals against the bag's top edge.
