Underside protection comes as a set here. Part 2005ER is the metal bottom plate together with the ties that retain it, listed for SEBO ET-C power heads and the ELECTRONIC 370. The plate is the wear surface running along the floor beneath the brush section, and the ties are what hold it flat against the housing.
Metal wears slowly, but it does wear. An old plate thins at the leading edge, picks up a curl where it has caught on a threshold, or loses the ties keeping it seated. Once it stops sitting true the nozzle rocks, the seal around the brush is lost, and pickup at the front of every pass falls off noticeably even though the motor and the filters are perfectly healthy. Renewing the plate and its fixings at the same time is the whole point of the set, because a good plate held by tired ties will not stay flat for long.
Two machines share this set: SEBO ET-C power heads and the ELECTRONIC 370. The ties are included because they are what hold the plate flat, and a plate only partly retained starts wearing unevenly from the moment it is fitted. If the frame the plate mounts to has cracked as well, the ET-C chassis is sold as a set with a plate of its own and is the more complete repair at that point.
