Returns & Exchanges

Part 524S is MD's flanged 90 degree metal ell for central vacuum pipe, supplied with an O-ring.

It is the elbow that turns a metal central vacuum line into an inlet position. MD's instruction is to mount it on the metal mounting bracket sold as part 515, using the gasket screws that come with that bracket, and MD's own note on the 515 is that this pair is what to use on metal piping jobs. The flange is what fastens the elbow to the bracket, so the two parts are normally ordered together rather than one at a time.

Because it fastens to a bracket that is itself fixed to a stud, the position of this elbow is set at rough-in and is awkward to change afterwards. Work out where the bracket goes before ordering. The fitting belongs to the steel side of the MD range rather than the PVC one, so confirm which your run uses.
