It is the internal electric motor that spins the agitator brushroll inside Miele's SEB 234 and SEB 236 Electro Premium powerheads, and it is the correct replacement when the head stops turning, runs weakly, or has become loud and grinding while suction itself is unaffected.

A failing brushroll motor is the most common reason an otherwise healthy electro-brush quits beating carpet. Swapping in this original motor restores full agitation, deep-pile carpet grooming and quiet, even operation, and is far more economical than replacing the entire powerhead. The motor is built to Miele factory spec for a direct, drop-in fit and long service life.
