Miele part 11212110 is the genuine electronic unit — the main control PCB — for Complete C3 and late S8 canister vacuums on the SGFE0/SGEE0/SGDE0 chassis. It is the board behind everything the vacuum does: power delivery to the suction motor, rotary dial speed regulation, soft-start, and the hose-handle on/off switching used on pure-suction and handle-control models.

Compatible Miele models:

  • Complete C3 series (SGFE0 / SGEE0 / SGDE0 designations)
  • S8380 and S8390 canisters, including S8390 HomeCare, S8390 Kona, and S8390 Calima
  • Other S8 / C3 models with the on/off switch on the hose handle or pure-suction configuration

Two notes from Miele's service guidance: replace the electronic unit whenever you fit a new suction motor (an aging board stresses a fresh motor), and Soft Carpet variants take board 11212140 instead — check your data plate if unsure.

Suspect this board when the vacuum is dead with a known-good cord reel, runs at one fixed speed regardless of the dial, or surges erratically.
