Part 12475730 bundles two wear items from inside Miele's TriFlex power nozzle into one kit: the belt and the small drive mechanism it runs against, both of which work together to spin the electrobrush.

Of everything in the nozzle, these two parts see the most continuous motion, and they are usually the first to show their age. A brush roll that has slowed down, stopped outright, or started spinning with a noticeable wobble while the rest of the vacuum sounds fine points to one or both of them wearing out. Buying the kit rather than the belt on its own means a fresh belt is not paired against a drive mechanism that is already partway worn, which would only shorten the new belt's life.
