Product details
Inside an AIRBELT K canister the motor runs under a moulded gray black shroud, and that shroud is 6679GS, drawn at position 21 of the AIRBELT K sheet.
Two jobs depend on it. First, it walls the motor off from the rest of the body, so anything that gets past the filtration stays out of the motor bay. Second, it shapes where the air goes once the motor has finished with it, keeping the flow along its intended route instead of letting it swirl loose inside the housing. A split cover gives up both, leaving the bay open to whatever the filtration misses.
The positions just before it on the diagram are exactly what the shroud encloses: the electronic controller at 14 — 6641ER on the K2 machines, 6645ER on the K3 Premium — white internal cable 6638 at 16, and the 1250W vacuum motor 6631ER at 17. Plug surround 6622GS follows at 22. Anyone with a canister open far enough to lift this cover has all of that in front of them, and a shroud that has gone brittle from years of heat cycling is fair warning to look hard at the motor's condition while it is visible rather than closing everything up and hoping.

A drop accounts for most broken covers; the rest simply harden and craze over a long service life. Either way the part is a replacement rather than a repair, since a shroud that no longer clamps down square does not seal the bay or guide air properly however carefully it is refitted. Searches for a SEBO motor cover, a K series motor shroud or an AIRBELT K position 21 housing all resolve here. Factory SEBO shroud, authorized dealer stock, sent out in 2–5 business days.
