The small left-hand motor mount for the Hoover 1100 C/E, part 012090. It supports and cushions the motor in the housing, and it is one of a set, so check the hand and size you need before ordering.
A collapsed mount lets the motor sit slightly out of position and move as it runs. What you hear is a machine that has become harsh and rattly. What happens underneath is that the vibration works through everything bolted around the motor, loosening fasteners and stressing the wiring.
A fresh mount takes the vibration back out and puts the motor where the factory intended it to sit. If the machine is old enough to need one, it is old enough to need the others, so replace them as a set while the motor is out.
