Product details
One moulding carries the suction motor across five different SEBO canisters. Part 8045ER is that cradle, catalogued for the AIRBELT D1 Turbo, D4 Premium, E1 Kombi, E2 Turbo and E3 Premium, and drawn as item 11 on the AIRBELT E sheet.
What surrounds it on that drawing makes the job plain. The motor takes item 9, the mount gasket 8, the noise-limiting cover 12 and the motor cover 13. This cradle is the piece holding the motor square in the middle of all of it, and the piece keeping motor vibration out of the shell. Crack the moulding, or let its ribs take a permanent set, and the motor settles fractionally off line. A drone appears under load, the housing buzzes at certain speeds, and the misalignment starts tugging at the inlet seal and the leads running past. A sound cradle returns the motor to its axis and takes the noise with it.
It is worth inspecting on any canister that has had its motor out. A support that has been heat-cycled for years rarely grips the way it did when new, and dropping a healthy motor into a tired one simply carries the vibration forward into the rebuild.
