    This genuine NaceCare / Numatic bucket latch (also called the toggle) is the over-center clip that locks the motor/lid assembly down onto the bucket body of the iconic Henry vacuum and its siblings. The latch holds the two halves of the machine together to keep an airtight seal during use, and releases quickly when you need to empty the bucket or change the bag.

    These toggles are spring-loaded and clicked open and closed constantly, so the plastic eventually fatigues, loses tension, or snaps. A worn latch can let the lid lift slightly and bleed off suction. Fitting a fresh OEM toggle restores a firm, secure clamp.
