This genuine NaceCare / Numatic Henry filter grid is the molded plastic cage that holds and supports the motor protection filter inside the Henry vacuum and its related Hetty, James, and George models. The grid sits between the dust chamber and the motor, keeping the filter properly positioned so that incoming air is filtered before it reaches the motor.
The filter grid is what guarantees the cloth or foam motor filter stays seated and flat against the intake; if the grid is cracked or warped, the filter can shift and let grit through to the motor, shortening its life. A genuine replacement grid restores correct filter support and airflow.
