Product details
Wessel Werk's neck release mechanism, part 10.1404-300, is the clear plastic catch on an EBK360 power nozzle that lets the neck pivot and disengage from the wand instead of staying locked at a fixed angle.
It is a wear part by nature: every angle change and every disconnect cycles the catch, and the plastic eventually loses its spring or the tab that holds the release cracks. When that happens the neck either will not release cleanly, sticking at one angle, or it lets go on its own mid-clean and the nozzle head flops loose from the wand. Both symptoms point to the same worn catch rather than to the neck joint itself.
Replacement is a small assembly swapped in place of the original mechanism at the neck joint. Support the neck housing while removing the old mechanism, since the surrounding plastic can be brittle on an older nozzle and the release tab is not meant to take the full load of the disassembly.
Confirm your power nozzle is the EBK360 rather than a related Wessel Werk model before ordering, since neck hardware differs across the line and a mechanism built for one neck shape will not seat correctly in another, even when the parts look similar at a glance.
