Thick brown scrub pad for the Oreck Orbiter floor machine, part 400212. The extra thickness is the point: a thicker pad has enough body to follow slight variations in a floor rather than bridging across them, so the abrasive stays in contact across the whole face.
Brown sits at the aggressive end of scrubbing duty, meant for hard-surface floors carrying real buildup rather than a week of footprints. Used with the Orbiter's motion it works soil loose without the cutting action of a stripping pad.
Pads have a working life measured in floors, not months. Once the surface glazes or packs with soil the pad starts to slide, which polishes the dirt rather than lifting it and leaves a haze that looks worse under lights than it did before you started. Rinse it after every use and replace it once the texture has gone. It seats onto the Orbiter's driver without tools.
