Part 430000944 is the handle for the Oreck Elevate uprights: the UK30100, UK30100PC, UH30100COM and UK30270, and the UK30200 and UK30200PC.

The handle is the only connection between you and a machine that is being pushed, pulled and swung around furniture, so it takes more force than anything else on the body. They crack at the lower mount or split along a molding seam, and once there is movement in the joint the vacuum feels vague to steer while the crack works its way further open with every session.

A cracked handle is also a hazard when the machine is being lifted, so it is not a job worth putting off. The replacement mounts at the original fixings using the existing hardware.
