This on/off switch (Part #430001013) is the power switch for the Oreck Orbiter floor machines, fitting the ORB600 and ORB700 models. The switch controls whether current reaches the motor, so it handles every start and stop of the machine. It sits in the primary power circuit of the Orbiter.

When the switch fails, the floor machine may not power on at all or can shut off unexpectedly during use, which interrupts work and raises a safety concern. A worn switch rarely improves on its own. Note that this part is no longer available from the manufacturer as of March 2026, so remaining stock is limited.
