Part 75558-02-441 replaces the 35 foot cord on a broad group of Oreck commercial uprights, finished red with three wire grounded construction. It fits the U2000HH, U2000EB and U2000RB-1 machines along with the XL2000HH, XL2000RH, XL2070RH, XL2090RHM, XL2100HH, XL2100RH and XL2100RHS.
Commercial cords lead a harder life than the machine's motor does. They get run over by the nozzle, tugged loose without anyone bothering to grip the plug first, and wound snug over the wall-hanging loops at the close of every shift. The damage collects where the cord flexes most: a split jacket just behind the plug, a run that only carries current at certain angles, or bare copper showing anywhere along the length. Power that drops the moment someone shifts the cord, or a plug that feels warm after normal use, is showing the same wear before it becomes visible.
None of that is worth patching with tape. A grounded three wire cord with exposed conductor is a shock and fire risk on a machine used in occupied buildings, and it will not pass most commercial safety checks. Cut power to the vacuum first, then clamp the strain relief onto the new cord in the same position the old one held, so the terminals themselves never carry the pulling force.
Oreck reused this cord and connector across every upright listed here, so a machine bought years apart from another can still take the same replacement, which is worth knowing if you are servicing more than one unit from the same fleet.
