An upright's power head is built around a driven roller for carpet, and that is not what a finished timber floor is asking for. Part 1359GS takes its place on SEBO uprights: a wide soft-bristled head that rides on the bristles rather than on its own housing, so the floor finish comes through untouched.
It attaches by friction fit — pushed on, gripped, no catch to release — so moving from the carpeted rooms to the hallway takes a moment. Use it across parquet, hardwood, laminate, tile and vinyl, where a spinning carpet roller would otherwise fling grit sideways and drag it over the surface. That is the failure people notice too late: not a scratch from the vacuum itself but a haze of fine marks worked in by the sand the roller was throwing about.
Bristles wear down with use, and a head that has started to sit on its own body instead of on the row of bristles has done its work. SEBO packs this brush into the 1991AM attachment set together with the 1084GS extension wand and the 1495AM stretch hose, which is the tidier way to buy it alongside the other above-floor tools, since a household fitting out an upright usually wants the wand and the stretch hose at the same time. The canister equivalent with a button lock is 1327WS.
