Type R30 fits the Riccar Brilliance and Simplicity Synchrony uprights: the R30D, R30P and R30PET codes on the Riccar side, and the matching S30D, S30P and S30PET codes on the Simplicity side. Nine bags per pack.

Each bag is rated H-10 HEPA, with five layers of micro-filtration specified to hold particles down to 0.3 microns. That grade earns its keep on a household upright, because the bag is the first filtration stage the dirt meets and whatever it lets through has to be caught further downstream or ends up back in the room.

Part VAC53. Change the bag before it packs solid rather than after. A bag run past full costs the machine airflow long before it looks obviously stuffed, and the loss comes on gradually enough that most people stop noticing it until a fresh bag makes the difference plain. If the code on your machine is not one of the six listed above, read the style marking on the bag currently fitted before ordering, since the model line on its own does not settle which bag a given Riccar or Simplicity takes.
