Part SH130R01 is a pigtail repair kit for Plastiflex central vacuum hoses. It is not a hose but the parts needed to rebuild the powered end of one, and it includes the cuff and the 6-foot cord. It suits Plastiflex hoses fitted with a pigtail.
The pigtail is the short curly lead that plugs into the wall inlet, and it takes far more punishment than the hose ever does: yanked out of the inlet at an angle, trodden on, and flexed at the same two points thousands of times. When it fails, the power unit will not start from the inlet even though the hose and the handle are both fine.
Rebuilding the end costs a great deal less than replacing a central vacuum hose. Cut the power at the unit before working on any part of the low-voltage circuit.
