SEBO Pile Adjustment Assemb...

Product details
When a height selector stops holding its setting, the linkage behind it has usually given up rather than the control itself. Part 2316HG replaces that linkage as one complete assembly, finished in the light gray used on matching ET-1 heads.
FELIX diagram position 107 is where SEBO draws it. Getting the setting right is worth the repair, because brush height is what decides whether the head actually works. A brush left too low scrubs against deep pile, makes the machine heavy to push and wears the bristle strip unevenly, while one stuck too high skims over the surface without reaching the fibres underneath and leaves a room looking vacuumed without being clean. Between those two extremes the mechanism is doing something useful on every stroke, which is why owners notice quickly when it stops.
Clear packed hair and thread from around the linkage before condemning it, since debris can hold the mechanism at one setting and imitate a failure exactly. If the selector still moves freely while the brush height stays put, the assembly is finished. It is supplied assembled and goes in as a unit, so the repair is a swap rather than a rebuild. SEBO lists this light gray version for the FELIX Premium on ET-1 heads built with or without an on/off rocker; the gray black equivalent is 2316GS. Colour is the only thing separating the two, so order against the finish of the head rather than the picture.
