SEBO Plug Surround Trim for...

Product details
6622GS is the gray black trim ring that finishes the plug aperture on an AIRBELT K canister. SEBO places it at position 22 of the AIRBELT K sheet, in the run of numbers that covers the machine underneath its top casing.
Its neighbours on that sheet say a good deal about when it actually gets ordered. Position 21 is motor cover 6679GS, position 24 the top casing, its release clip 6625ER numbered 25, and item 28 is casing clip 6086HG. All of those are reached from the same strip-down, so the surround is very often bought alongside something else rather than on its own. Further along at position 11 is cord rewind unit 665603E — the assembly that drags the cable back through this very opening every time the release is pressed, which is the load that eventually tells on the trim.
Years of plugging and unplugging work the ring sideways. A tab lets go, then the whole surround loosens and finally drops out, leaving a rough-edged hole with nothing supporting the fitting behind it. From that point the fitting itself takes the strain each time the cord is handled, which is a far more expensive thing to replace. A new surround tidies the aperture and puts that support back, and because it clips in rather than being wired in, it is well within the reach of a careful owner with the body already open.
