A pair of genuine Koblenz 6-inch polish brushes, sold here as part 4501359 and stamped by Koblenz as 45-0135-9. They fit the Koblenz 3901 and the P600, P800, P1800 and 2470 polishers, and they are the same brush Kenmore listed as 53271 and RE-900319 for the 680.8837280.
Polish brushes stop laying a shine down long before they look worn out. Once the bristles splay and pack flat, the brush glides over the finish instead of buffing it, and the floor comes up dull or streaky no matter how many passes you make. Replacing both together keeps the machine balanced under the handle.
One thing to check before ordering: these do not fit the Koblenz P4000.
