Product details
Model-coded to the SEBO 300 Mechanical, this gray black shell is the top of the power head — the moulding that closes over the brushroll drive and the wiring that runs to it, and the part every fastener in that area clamps against. Order it as 50401GSAM. Covers in this range are cut to a single model and are not interchangeable, so read the model off the data plate before you commit.
Power head covers rarely wear out; they break. A corner caught on a stair nosing, a doorframe taken at speed, or a fastener pulled through its boss leaves a split that keeps growing, because the shell flexes a little at every knock. Once it is compromised the head starts to buzz and shift under the hand, the fixings no longer pull the assembly together, and dust reaches drive components that were never meant to see it. Replacing the cover closes the head up again and puts the mounting points back exactly where the hardware expects them.
SEBO shows the cover at position 100 in the 300 Mechanical power head drawing, sitting directly above the chassis at 102. If the impact that cracked the shell also caught the front of the machine, the bumper is 50313HG at position 103. The rest of the head for this model runs to brush roller 50470ER, brush roller release 50403HGER, front bottom plate 50404HGER and rear bottom plate 50310HGER.
