Grit that gets past a broken shell lands on the belt and pulley, which is the practical argument for replacing a cracked cover rather than living with it. Part 2341SWET is the black upper shell of the SEBO ET-2 power head, supplied plain, without a printed model name on the surface.

SEBO shows the ET-2 cover at position 135 in its ET 1 / ET 2 diagram, recorded against heads built with the switch. Mechanically the shell is the molded top of the nozzle: it takes the fixings, holds the housing to shape, and seals the drive area from the dust the machine is picking up an inch below it. The failure is nearly always a split at a screw boss or a broken locating tab, and once either has happened the top stops pulling down flush and the crack keeps extending under vibration.

The replacement arrives as the cover only. Belt, roller, switch and fixings all transfer across from the head being repaired, so the job is a straight exchange with a screwdriver. If any of the original screws are chewed, SEBO lists them on their own, with screw 3.9 x 13 as 0102 singly and 0102ER in a ten pack, and locking washers as 0141 and 0141ER.
