Powr-Flite 20-Gallon Poly T...

Product details

The PF56 takes twenty gallons of polyethylene tank and pairs it with a full tool kit, aimed at hard-floor maintenance crews who would otherwise stop every few minutes to empty a smaller machine.

Powr-Flite rates it at 1.6 horsepower, 1200 watts, 114 CFM and 100 inches of water lift, drawing 10 amps at 120 volts. Filtration is two-stage with a washable, reusable cloth filter, the hose is 1.5 inch by 10 feet, and the kit covers a two-piece wand, a 14 inch carpet and squeegee tool, and crevice and dusting tools. It runs 8 inch rear wheels, a 30 foot 16/3 cord and a rear drain hose for emptying wastewater without tipping the tank.

Floor-stripping recovery is where the extra capacity earns its keep. A two-person crew working a strip-and-refinish job generates recovered liquid fast, and twenty gallons buys real working time before anyone breaks away to dump. Choosing poly over stainless at this size is mostly a weight decision, since a lighter shell is noticeably easier to wheel between rooms or up a ramp carrying the same load. Poly also takes knocks against door frames and loading docks without denting the way a thin metal shell can, which matters on a machine that spends its life being pushed through tight spaces.

  • Model: PF56
  • Motor: 1.6 hp, 1200 W, 114 CFM, 100 in water lift, 10 A at 120 V
  • Tank: 20 gallon polyethylene, rear drain hose
  • Cord and wheels: 30 ft 16/3 cord, 8 in rear wheels
  • Optional: FM200H front-mount squeegee

Ships in 2-5 business days. Dry debris from a shop floor goes into the identical tank, so one PF56 covers both sides of the cleanup, and rinsing between wet and dry use keeps the filtration working the way it is meant to.
