Product details
This is Powr-Flite's double-jet carpet extractor wand, supplied as PFX-KIT3 and built around a pair of 11001 spray tips rated to a 500 PSI working maximum. Running two tips instead of one widens the wet band each stroke lays down without needing to raise the pump setting, which is the main reason a crew reaches for a double-jet head instead of a single-jet one on bigger jobs. Powr-Flite builds it on a one-piece stainless steel tube in the 1-1/2 inch size, with an adjustable double-bend handle.
Tip size and wand pressure rating have to match the pump behind them, and mismatching either one causes problems that are easy to misread. A tip that flows more than the pump can supply starves the spray and leaves streaks of under-wetted carpet in the pass. Running a wand above its rated pressure risks blowing a fitting or splitting a seal at the handle, which shows up as a sudden loss of spray pressure and a wet patch where the leak lands. Neither problem points back to the extractor's pump, which is why checking the wand rating first saves a lot of guesswork.
Tips also wear on their own schedule. The orifice in a spray tip erodes gradually as solution passes through it, and an eroded tip sprays a wider, weaker pattern than a new one at the same pressure, which shows up as streakier extraction results well before the tip visibly looks worn.
- Part number: PFX-KIT3
- Tips: two, 11001
- Maximum pressure: 500 PSI
- Tube: one-piece stainless steel, 1-1/2 inch
- Use: carpet extraction, portable extractors
Before ordering, check your extractor's rated pump pressure against the 500 PSI maximum Powr-Flite publishes for this wand, and replace both tips as a pair rather than one at a time so spray output stays even across the width of the wand.
