Product details

PS320B is the main broom belt in Powr-Flite's parts list for the PS320 and PS320M push sweepers. On a manual machine the only power input is the operator walking, and this belt is the link that turns that forward motion into broom rotation, so a stretched or glazed belt lets the brooms turn slower than the machine is moving and debris trails along the floor instead of dropping into the hopper.

A sweeper that suddenly starts leaving a line behind it, after months of coming up clean, is worth checking here before anything else. Belts stretch quietly: one can look perfectly intact and still slip under load, so check for slack rather than only checking for a break, and catch the lost tension before it shows up as a visible drop in sweeping.

Powr-Flite runs the PS320's two main brooms on a tandem principle where only one of them contacts the floor, and its manual notes the unworn front broom can later be moved back as the rear one's replacement. That makes belt condition, rather than broom stock, the thing most likely to take a machine out of service.

Order as PS320B, sold each. The side broom belt on the same list is PS320A and the drive belt is PS320C. Tell us which symptom you are chasing and we will confirm which of the three to send.

  • Part: PS320B main broom belt, sold each
  • Fits: Powr-Flite PS320 and PS320M push sweepers
  • Drives: the two main brooms off the machine's forward motion
  • Check for: slack and slip under load, not only a clean break
  • On the same list: PS320A side broom belt, PS320C drive belt
