This genuine Numatic MicroFresh odor control filter (Part #604170) uses activated charcoal to absorb lingering smells from the vacuum's exhaust. Sized for 305mm machines, it works to keep what goes into the vacuum from coming back out as odor.

As the charcoal saturates, odor control fades and the exhaust can start to carry a stale smell again. A filter past its useful life no longer neutralizes the odors it once trapped. Fitting a fresh MicroFresh filter restores clean-smelling exhaust.
