Part 835687 is the front half of the outer shell on ProTeam's ProGen 12 and ProGen 15 uprights, sold in the current new-style design that replaced the earlier front housing. It is the panel that takes the daily impact of doorways, furniture legs, and being set down harder than it should be.
A cracked or warped front housing rarely fails the machine outright. What it does is loosen the whole assembly: the rear housing no longer draws up tight against it, internal components lose some of the protection the shell exists to provide, and a machine that used to run solid starts rattling on hard floors. Left long enough, the gap at the seam collects dust that has no business getting inside. Commercial machines spend their lives being leaned into thresholds and parked against walls between rooms, and the front shell is where those contacts land first.
A warped front half can also throw off how squarely the rear housing seats against it, which is often what gets noticed before the crack itself is spotted. Check that the two halves draw up evenly during reassembly before securing everything down.
