The motor in a ProTeam backpack floats on rubber mounts, and this service kit renews them. Part 100368 contains three well nuts, three bolts, three washers and three covers, the full set of isolators for one cylinder-style backpack motor.
Perished mounts are easy to diagnose by ear and by hand. The machine turns noticeably louder and buzzier on your back, and the vibration you used to feel faintly through the padding becomes a hard drumming. Left long enough, a motor that is no longer isolated works against its housing and the fasteners around it.
Because a motor change means disturbing these mounts anyway, most technicians fit a fresh kit at the same time rather than reusing rubber that has already hardened. It fits the ProTeam Super CoachVac, MegaVac, QuietPro BP, Super QuarterVac and AviationVac.
