ProTeam Rocker On/Off Switc...

Product details
Part 105147 replaces the on/off rocker switch used across ProTeam's ProForce upright line, a multi-terminal rocker rather than the simple two-wire switch found on smaller machines. Full motor current passes through it every time the vacuum runs, which is why it wears in ways an operator tends to notice before the machine ever fails outright: a rocker that has to be held in place to stay engaged, a unit that runs in one switch position yet not another, or nothing at all from a switch that used to click cleanly between both settings.
With several separate terminals involved, the wiring layout is not something to leave to memory once the housing is open. Photograph the connections before removing the old switch, since a lead landing on the wrong terminal can leave a brand-new switch performing no better than the failing one it replaced, or worse.
Cut power before opening the switch housing, and inspect the spade terminals for discoloration from heat while everything is exposed, since a loose connector is a frequent root cause behind a switch failing earlier than it should. Reseating a loose terminal alone sometimes brings the old switch back to reliable operation without buying a replacement part at all, so that inspection is worth the extra minute before committing to swap in the new one.
