Product details

On the pull stroke it is the trailing row of bristles that gathers whatever the front row loosened, and SEBO 6391RS is that rear strip for the button-lock parquet brush, 6391DA.

The 6391DA holds two bristle rows in one housing, a leading row and a trailing row, each seated in its own channel and released by the button catch rather than by screws. SEBO's machine drawings show the tool as a single assembly — position 43 on the AIRBELT D parts list, position 52 on the AIRBELT E list, position 37 on the AIRBELT K list — so the two rows are ordered by their own codes instead of by a balloon number. The suffix is the entire difference between them: RS is the rear row, FS the front. Ordering on the stem alone is the usual way this one goes wrong.

A tired rear strip hides itself, because the tool still looks like it is doing its job. The push stroke sweeps, then the return stroke lays a thin line of dust down behind the brush and fine grit stays sitting in the joints of a board floor. Held against a new strip, worn bristles read short, splayed and glossy at the tips. Replacing the row keeps the housing, the neck and the button lock in service, and fitting the front row 6391FS in the same sitting keeps the sweep matched in both directions rather than leaving one fresh row to do the work of two.
