A hose coupling that wiggles or pops free at the handle usually traces back to a tired retaining ring. Part 6303GS is the gray-black ring SEBO fits at the handle end of the hose on its canister machines, clamping the coupling so the joint stays tight through years of tugging and coiling.

SEBO's AIRBELT E parts diagram shows this ring at position 33, inside the group that covers the hose and the wand rather than the body of the machine. Its neighbours on that sheet say a lot about where it lives: position 36 is the complete release button, and position 37 is 6238ER, the locking mechanism inside the telescopic tube. That second number is a useful cross-check, because SEBO lists 6238ER against exactly the same six machines as this ring — if one is on your parts list, the other belongs to the same handle-and-tube group.

Once the ring loses tension or splits, the coupling rocks in its seat, air sneaks into the joint, and the machine feels weaker at the nozzle than it should. The tell-tale is a hose end that spins too freely, or one that separates when the canister is dragged along behind you. Swapping in the correct ring is a short bench job that puts the grip back.

  • Part number: 6303GS
  • Colour and finish: gray black, matching SEBO's standard hose and handle trim
  • Fitment: AIRBELT D1 Turbo, AIRBELT E1 Kombi, AIRBELT E2 Turbo, AIRBELT K2 Kombi and AIRBELT K2 Turbo canisters, plus the C1.1 and C2.1
  • Diagram position: 33 in the AIRBELT E exploded view
  • Job in the machine: holds the hose coupling square in the handle
  • Sold as: one ring
  • Related numbers: 6355AM, the complete 7 ft. gray-black hose with handle, coupling and retaining ring for the C1.1 and C2.1; 6238ER, the telescopic tube locking mechanism

Judge the repair by what has actually failed. A split hose or a cracked handle is a job for the full assembly; a joint that has simply gone loose is fixed by this ring alone. Genuine SEBO stock, shipping in 2–5 business days — check the model badge on your canister first so the finish matches the rest of the hose.
