SEBO Cord Rewind Lever Spri...

Product details
Sometimes only the spring has gone, and there is no reason to buy a lever alongside it. 8098ER is the rewind lever spring on its own for the AIRBELT D1 Turbo and the D4 Premium, item 12 on the AIRBELT D drawing, sitting immediately beside the lever it loads at item 13.
Its work is simple and constant. It returns the lever after each press and keeps it away from the catch inside the cord reel for the rest of the time. As tension drains, the lever either sinks into the housing or swings with no resistance at all. The reel then frees itself when it ought to stay locked, or holds on when it ought to free, and the flex ends up being wound in by hand. Where the pivot on the lever has cracked too, 8036ER is the fuller repair, bringing lever, spring, screw and washer together; where the lever is sound, this spring alone is the whole fix.
Diagnosis takes a moment with the cover off. Press the lever by hand: if it travels and then stays where it was put, the spring behind it has lost tension and this is the number to order. If the lever has cracked at its pivot, no spring will hold it in line.
