This is the upper housing for the Rexair E Series power nozzle — the outer cover that snaps over the motor, brushroll, and internal components to keep dust out and the assembly together.

The top cover takes the brunt of bumps against baseboards and furniture legs, and over time it can crack, scuff, or develop broken tabs that leave the head rattling. Replacing it restores a clean appearance and a secure, properly seated housing.
