Side sealing strips for the dust compartment, part B221-0814, covering a wide span of Riccar and Simplicity uprights: the 4000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 series along with Vibrance and Symmetry models. Vibrance runs on the Riccar 4000-series chassis and Symmetry on the Simplicity 6000-series chassis, which is why one seal number serves both names.
Seals in the bag compartment go hard and take a set over the years, and once they stop pressing against the cover, fine dust escapes past the bag instead of staying in the compartment. Replace them whenever you have the machine apart for filter or bag-housing work. The motor compartment seals for the same families are B221-0700 (large) and B221-0600 (small).
