R27P, the Riccar Clean Air Premium Pet, is the pet-focused upright in the R27 family, built around HEPA media filtration rated at 99.97 percent down to 0.3 microns for households where shedding is a daily fact rather than an occasional problem.
Pet hair behaves differently from ordinary household dust. It wraps around brush roll bearings and works itself into upholstery and stair edges in ways a general-purpose tool kit is not always built to reach, which is why this model ships with the Fur Get It tool alongside the usual crevice, upholstery and dusting attachments, with about 15 ft. of reach from the wand and hose.
What actually separates it from the Clean Air Deluxe is the dust and allergen sensor. It reads what is coming up off the floor and drives amber indicator lights that stay lit while the machine is still finding fur, dander or dust and go out once the area is clean, which turns a guess about whether a rug has had enough passes into something visible.
