Suction inlet assembly for the 20 series Riccar and Simplicity uprights, listed as part C625-0414. It arrives complete rather than as a loose fitting, which is what you want when the original has split around the hose cuff and will no longer hold a coupling tight.

All of the airflow the machine develops travels through this port, so damage here reads as poor carpet pickup and as a hose that keeps working itself free. It is a frequent casualty on machines where the wand has been levered out at an angle instead of pulled straight.
