    Ordered as C601-1144, this is the black cover over the front of the nozzle on the Riccar R25S, the Standard machine in the R25 range. It is the panel that shows every scrape picked up from furniture legs and door frames, and the one most often replaced for appearance alone.

    Fitment is deliberately narrow here. The Deluxe R25D and the Premium Pet R25P use a different cover, C601-9114, so the model letter on your machine decides which of the two to buy. There is a practical side as well as a cosmetic one: the front of the nozzle forms part of the sealed path to the bag, and a split shell lets air in where the machine expects none.
