B220-0314 is the black basetray cover fitted to the underside of the Riccar R10, Simplicity S10 and Maytag M500 ultralight uprights. It closes off the base tray so airflow is pulled through the nozzle opening rather than leaking around the sole of the machine.
Covers take the worst of the abuse on an ultralight, scraping carpet transitions and door thresholds, so a cracked or worn one is a normal service replacement rather than the sign of a bigger fault.
