Product details

Part B470-8600B is the rear wheel axle for Riccar and Simplicity uprights. It is the pin the rear wheel spins on, and it takes the full weight of the machine plus whatever side load comes from turning corners or dragging the machine over a threshold.

An axle that has worn or bent shows up as a wheel that wobbles, sits at an angle, or has developed play you can feel by rocking it side to side with the machine tipped back. Left alone, a loose wheel wears its mounting hole in the base plate, which turns a cheap axle job into a more expensive one. This is the axle itself, not the wheel, so reuse your existing wheel if its tread and bore are still in good shape.

  • Part: B470-8600B, rear wheel axle
  • Position: rear
  • Sold: individually

The PV and MV power nozzles use their own rear wheel axle, listed separately, so confirm whether the worn axle is the one in the machine body or the one in the nozzle before ordering, and inspect the retaining clip that holds the wheel on while you have the assembly apart.
